Completion of new project with Muller Milk & Ingredients UK
Around 5 billion litres of milk are sold in Britain each year and we consume an average of 1.6 litres each a week. In addition milk is the key ingredient in a range of dairy products most notably yoghurts and similar deserts. To get onto the shelves of large supermarkets or into small village stores or to dairy product manufacturers, milk needs to be collected from the farms and transported around the country safely and hygienically.
HMD has recently completed a new project with Muller Milk and Ingredients UK they were involved with the new tanker CIP system for cleaning and sanitising their fleet of milk tankers at the Manchester dairy. This new system conforms to the latest BRC standards and meets the customers strict hygiene requirements.
